Water Closet is a special tool as a place for sewage. The use of the use of this Water Closet is very diverse and alternating. So it does not rule out the possibility of spreading the virus through physical hand contact when opening or closing and pressing the Water Closet watering button. The purpose of this thesis is to create a Microcontroller-based automatic Water Closet prototype to prevent the spread of viruses through physical hand contact. In general, this automatic Water Closet prototype is designed using Arduino Uno R3, two Ultrasonic sensors, Servo Motor and Water Pump. Arduino Uno R3 receives input data commands from the first Ultrasonic sensor at the bottom of the front of the Water Closet to be processed and forwarded to the Servo Motor which functions to open the Water Closet cover. After that Arduino Uno R3 receives an input data command from the second Ultrasonic sensor on the left side of the Water Closet to be processed and forwarded to the Water Pump which functions to flush the Water Closet. The results of research and design and testing conducted show that this prototype system can prevent the spread of the virus by not making physical contact of hands on the Water Closet. It can be concluded that this microcontroller-based automatic Water Closet prototype can be used as a basis when someone wants to make a real automatic Water Closet.
