Water is one of the natural resources that has a very important function for humans, animals, and plants to meet their needs and sustain their lives naturally. The need for clean water for the community continues to increase due to several factors, namely increasing population growth, increasing the degree of community life and the development of cities/service areas related to improving socio-economic conditions. The purpose of this study is to determine the population, clean water needs, and reservoir capacity needed by 2032 in Siempat Rube District. This research method uses quantitative and compares Geometric and Arithmetic Methods. Based on the comparison results of the Arithmetic Method the standard deviation amounted to 430.860 and the correlation coefficient amounted to 0.947 whereas, the Geometric Method standard deviation amounted to 417.299 and the correlation coefficient amounted to 0.942. Thus, it can be concluded from the results of a comparison that meets the requirements According to (Regulation of the Minister of Public Works No. 18/PRT/M/2007) is the Arithmetic Method that is more effective and qualified in determining the method of population growth. From the results of the analysis of the population in 2032 amounted to 9,021 people, while the average daily clean water demand in 2032 amounted to or 333,335.52 m3/year, and for the reservoir storage capacity in 2032 amounted to 219,180 m3.
