This research aims to determine the inventory control of soybean raw materials implemented at Mr Abdul's Tofu Factory and to determine the number of orders for economical soybean raw material supplies at Mr Abdul's Tofu Factory. The data processed is in the form of an inventory report on the purchase and use of soybean raw materials at Mr Abdul's Tofu Factory for 1 year. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method because this research is related to the research object, namely companies over a certain period of time by collecting data and information related to the company and adjusted to the research objectives. Descriptive analysis techniques are used to analyze data regarding the problem of controlling raw material inventories in an effort to reduce production costs, namely using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Period Order Quantity (POQ) methods. The research results show that companies can save costs if the company uses the POQ (Period Order Quantity) method where ordering costs are lower than ordering costs according to the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) method or the method the company currently uses. The frequency of purchasing soybean raw materials using the company method is higher than the POQ (Period Order Quantity) method. Based on the results of calculations using the EOQ method, the quantity ordered was 11,082.01 kg with a purchase frequency of 7 times a year and a total cost of IDR 11,384,216, while the POQ calculation obtained a quantity of 3,199.09 kg, with a purchase frequency of 2 times a year. a year and Total Cost of IDR 4,139,971.
