This study aims to improve the operational feasibility of the bus fleet of PT. ALS (Antar Lintas Sumatera) using the SMART (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique) method. PT. ALS is a transportation company that provides inter-Sumatra bus services and often faces operational challenges such as heavy traffic conditions and technical issues with its bus fleet. This research employs the SMART method to evaluate the operational feasibility of the buses by considering various important criteria such as the technical condition of the buses, fuel availability, maintenance schedules, and compliance with safety standards. The results show that the SMART method is effective in identifying priority areas for fleet repair and maintenance, which in turn enhances service quality and operational safety. By applying the SMART method, PT. ALS can optimize resource utilization and minimize operational risks, thereby reducing delays and increasing customer satisfaction.
