PT. Grahadura Leidong Prima is a Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Processing Factory into CPO and Palm Kernel. Has an installed capacity of 45 Ton FFB per hour. The average daily FFB receipts is only around 222.17 tons of FFB, while the factory is able to process up to 900–1080 tons of FFB per day. From the data for the last month, it can be seen that PT. GLP does not process FFB every day. This is due to the lack of supplies of FFB raw materials received by PT. GLP.
Supply Chain Management is a set of approaches applied to efficiently integrate suppliers, entrepreneurs, warehouses and other storage places. SCM aims to make the entire system efficient and effective, minimizing costs from transportation and distribution to raw material inventory, materials in process, and finished goods.
The final objective of this research is to design the fulfillment of FFB raw material supply at PT. Grahadura Leidong Prima to meet the factory capacity of 45 tons of FFB per hour based on the projected calculation of FFB availability from supplier plantations. To anticipate supply shortages from the sister estates, it is necessary to cooperate in procuring FFB raw materials with third parties to meet the shortages from the plantation suppliers themselves.
From the results of the analysis and evaluation of the data and availability of FFB, it is possible to obtain a FFB supply design to process 6 working days a year with a working time of 20 hours, equivalent to 90% of the factory utility, according to the minimum target of processing, then in a month as much as 26 days. work. So that the need for FFB supply in a year if processing 317 working days as much as 317 x 45 x 20 = 285,300 Tons of FFB while the production in the first year based on the calculation is 301758 Tons, then there is an excess of 16,458 Tons a year.
