This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on professionalism of employees at the Ministry of Public Works, Directorate General of Water Resources, North Sumatra II River Basin, to determine the effect of organizational support on professionalism of employees at the Ministry of Public Works, Directorate General of Water Resources, North Sumatra II River Basin. and to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and organizational support on professionalism of employees at the Ministry of Public Works, Directorate General of Water Resources, North Sumatra II River Basin. This study uses quantitative methods, with 120 research respondents. The results showed that based on the partial test (t test), emotional intelligence had a positive effect on professionalism with a sig value of 0.000 <0.05. Organizational support also has a positive effect on professionalism with a sig value of 0.000 <0.05. Based on the simultaneous test (F test), it can be seen that the sig value is 0.000 <0.05, meaning that simultaneously (overall) there is an influence between emotional intelligence and organizational support for professionalism. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination test, it can be seen that emotional intelligence and organizational support simultaneously (together) contribute or contribute to professionalism of 57.4%. The remaining 42.6% is influenced by other factors outside of emotional intelligence and organizational support. | en_US |
