The purpose of this study focuses on two forms of knowledge, namely: knowledge of the application of transparency in financial reports managed by the Badan Wakaf Indonesia Perwakilan Sumut and knowing the implementation of accountability in the Badan Wakaf Indonesia Perwakilan Sumut. This study uses a descriptive research method, namely research to make a description of the problem situation based on the data. Primary data obtained directly through interviews, namely with the secretary of the Badan Wakaf Indonesia Perwakilan Sumut. Meanwhile, secondary data for this study were obtained through the results of library data related to this research.
The results of this study Accountability and Transparency are still weaknesses in waqf management. Overall the waqf managed by the Badan Wakaf Indonesia Perwakilan Sumut has not been able to maximize management with the principle of transparency in general because some of the data has not been open to all waqifs or the general public, only certain parties who want to know about waqf management by asking the Badan Wakaf Indonesia Perwakilan Sumut. They only provide financial reports containing the income and expenditure of funds that are written on the notice board. | en_US |
