Steel has a very important role in pile cap construction, especially in the context of structural stability and strength. As the main component in distributing the load from the pile to the surrounding soil, reinforcement ensures that the load pressure is distributed evenly, reducing the risk of load imbalance which can cause structural damage. Therefore, this paper aims to find out how to calculate the loads and moments acting on the pile caps in the North Sumatra Regional Police Flats Construction project correctly in designing reinforcements and to know how to design optimal pile cap reinforcements. The type of analysis used in this writing is analysis based on SNI 2847:2019 concerning Structural Concrete Requirements for Buildings. From the analysis results, it was also found that the bending moment in the x direction that occurred in the PC 4 pilecap was 156,424 kNm and the bending moment in the y direction was 110,936 kNm with the diameter of the reinforcement used being D16-200. In designing pile caps for the North Sumatra Regional Police Flats Construction project, load and moment calculations must be carried out carefully and accurately. From the results of the analysis carried out, it was found that the calculation of pile cap reinforcement in the field with the analysis results was the same where the reinforcement used in pile cap reinforcement was sufficient to meet the structural safety requirements based on SNI 2847:2019 as well as in designing pile cap reinforcement on the North Sumatra Regional Police Flats Construction project that SNI 2847:2019 can be used for planning reinforced concrete structures because the analysis results obtained with the results in the field are the same and choose materials that meet quality standards and project specifications and adjust them to the availability of materials in the field to increase cost efficiency.
