Development is currently the main point in the development of an area, including the construction of infrastructure buildings, roads, bridges and dams, being a means that is often used in the development of an area, but very often found in areas that have the potential to damage the quality of the structure to be planned, especially in areas that contain high enough acidic water and water contaminated with chemicals. For this reason, this study aims to examine how much influence of water containing sulfur compounds (S) on the compressive strength of concrete?. Compressive strength testing of concrete using K-250 concrete quality, carried out at the age of 14 days and 28 days with a sample size of 15x15x15 cm. Samples were immersed in fresh water and sulphur water for 14 days and 28 days, the average yield of K-250 concrete quality in sulfur water samples aged 14 days had an average pressure of F'c 17.64 Mpa and freshwater average F'c 19.38 Mpa and sulfur water samples aged 28 days averaged F'c 24.06 Mpa and freshwater averaged F'c 25.19 Mpa. So it can be concluded that the factor of decreasing the quality of concrete quality in soaking sulfur water for 14 days reached 8.97% and the factor of decreasing the quality of soaking sulfur water for 28 days reached 4.5%. With the average value of the percentage of decline reaching 7%. Keywords: Strong compressive concrete.
