The increasing number of the latest car outputs coupled with the increasingly massive advertising about the latest cars in Medan City, makes consumers or the public more interested and encouraged to be able to exchange (sell) their cars and replace them with the latest cars, so this creates used cars that are still suitable for use to be re-traded to other consumers so that it makes the marketing of used cars very much. This is evidenced by the large number of requests for the purchase of used cars in Medan City to meet their needs for four-wheeled vehicles. Used vehicles, especially 4-wheelers, have varying prices and are always not the same from one seller to another, which causes confusion for buyers about the price of used cars. To overcome this problem, the author uses data mining techniques in predicting used vehicles, especially 4-wheelers. Make predictions using the gradient boosting algorithm and linear regressin algorithm that produces used car predictions
