dc.description.abstract Lawn mower prototype using solar cell. A solar cell is a conversion of solar energy into electrical energy that can be used in various tools, including lawn mowers in fields and gardens. At this time lawn mowers that are often found among the public still use oil (BBM) for energy consumption. The weakness of a lawn mower that uses fuel oil (BBM) is air pollution and the sound it generates. Based on these things, a clothing lawn mower is designed to draw current from sunlight as a source of power to run a DC motor on the lawn mower. so as to reduce air pollution or noise generated by the engine to create environmentally friendly. Electric lawn mowers are made to make it easier and more economical for users of lawn mowers to use solar cells. Electricity from electric lawn mowers sourced from the sun is absorbed directly by the 20WP solar cell, which will flow to the Solar charge controller to control the charging of the 12V battery, from the solar charge current flows to the battery as a backup energy store to keep the lawn mower operational when sunlight is limited or not available, the electric current from the battery is fed to the 12V DC motor that controls the lawn mower. This tool has the potential to be applied in various environments, especially in areas with limited access to electricity or for those who wish to switch to renewable energy sources. By using this solar cell-based lawn mower, users can take care of their gardens or parks in an efficient, environmentally friendly and sustainable way.
