| dc.description.abstract | This study concerns with the descriptive analysis of The Analysis of Method Translation In: Ralph Breaks The Internet Movie. The problem of the study are (1) What kinds of translation methods that which are used in film subtitle Ralph Break the Internet? (2) How many frequency of occurrence of any type of translation methods used in film subtitle Ralph Break the Internet? (3) How the accuracy of a translation in subtitle film Ralph Break the Internet? The objective of the study are to describe the type of methods that’s used in the subtitle of Ralph Breaks the Internet movie, to describe how many frequencies of the occurrences from each type of translation methods in the subtitle of Ralph Breaks the Internet movie and to find out the accuracy of the translation of the subtitle in Ralph Breaks the Internet movie. This study used a Newmark’s (1916-2011) theory. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method to classify and analyze the subtitle. The data sources in this study is basically divided into two; primary and secondary data. Primary data is derived from the subtitle. The data of this research are the translation methods words/phrases found in the subtitle of Ralph Breaks the Internet movie. Secondary data is derived from books, internet as well as journals to find relevant information related to translation methods. The result of this study described that methods course of has 13 data, Adaptation translation methods has 5 data, Free translation methods has 16 data, Idiomatic translation methods has 2 data, Literal translation methods has 16 data, and Semantic translation methods has 2 data. | en_US |
