dc.description.abstract Transformational leadership is a charismatic leader and has a central role and strategy in bringing the organization to achieve its goals. Organizational commitment is an attitude of employee loyalty and an ongoing process of an employee. Based on the research, the target population is all the people involved in the Central Bureau of Statistics MEDAN (BPS) in the research conducted by the researcher with the title that the researchers studied totaling 100 people. Because the total population was 100 people, the researchers took 100% of the population in the Central Bureau of Statistics, CITY of MEDAN became the sample and became the respondents. Thus, the use of the entire population without having to draw a sample, this study uses a saturated sample. The results of this study indicate that Transformational Leadership has a positive and significant direct effect on Organizational Commitment. Transformational Leadership has a direct and significant negative effect on OCB. Transformational leadership has a negative effect on OCB through organizational commitment. The results of the R2 value obtained by the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.118, meaning that the influence of the Transformational Leadership variable (X) on Organizational Commitment (Z) is 11.8% while the rest is influenced by other variables. The result of the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.040, meaning that the influence of the variables of Transformational Leadership (X) and Organizational Commitment (Z) on OCB (Y) is 04.0% while the rest is influenced by other variables en_US
