Most people in Indonesia make their living as farmers. In some areas there are still those who have not touched on aspects of appropriate technology that are effective in supporting agriculture. One technology that needs to be developed in agriculture is a manual sprayer that uses a DC pump and solar cells as a battery charger. This development is needed because the majority of people still use manual sprayers, which cause uneven spraying on plants and make it quite energy-intensive to use or operate. On this basis, a manual spayer was designed to become a spayer that uses battery power which can spray evenly on plants and also speed up spraying. In designing this tool, several materials are used, namely a manual sprayer tube with a capacity of 15 liters, a battery as a voltage source with a voltage of 12 volts which will supply the DC pump voltage, a DC pump as a water pump from the spayer tube which requires voltage from the battery to work, a pontesiometer as a water pressure speed regulator and also uses a 20 WP solar panel as a temporary voltage supplier for the pump and also as a battery charger.
