On the road in the Tambunan-Durin Serugun area,Sibolangit sub-district, Deli Serdang district is a Regency road with Class III A primary Kolekter road status. Along with the increasing number of vehicles, especially trucks carrying quarry material, vehicles crossing a road section sometimes do not match the vehicle load capacity and the maximum transport load required. allowed. So, this is what causes the load received by the pavement to experience excess which can directly affect the design life of a road section. This evaluation is carried out aimed at observing how much impact the vehicle overloading load has on the road pavement structure. This excess vehicle load then causes the axle load to increase from the axle load imposed by the regulations. The method used is to analyze the pavement design life based on the cumulative ESAL results for each change in load weight. This study concludes that overload is the main cause of the rapid deterioration of the Tambunan-Durin Serugun road.
