The implementation of the project for Flood Infrastructure Control Development in Kualanamu experienced delays in implementing project activities, these delays caused delays in project completion. There are several factors that cause delays including unpredictable weather, location, design conditions, and different planning errors. Based on this, it is necessary to have an appropriate scheduling method to accelerate the implementation time of project construction without increasing project costs. One method of acceleration that can be done without increasing project costs is to use the fast track method because the fast track method is considered more effective and efficient for accelerating project implementation time. The aim of this research is to find out more economical costs and more efficient time duration for the project. The method used is quantitative data analysis. From the results of the analysis carried out, it was found that scheduling under normal conditions without acceleration was 262 days and scheduling using the fast track method was 254 days, resulting in an acceleration of the work duration of 8 days and the total project cost without acceleration was IDR. 15,226,531,100. Scheduling using the fast track method can reduce costs by Rp. 121,850,615,064. This method is able to reduce costs due to project delays which were initially Rp. 15,226,531,100. In terms of costs, the fast track method is more economical, but has greater risks because if one of the jobs on the critical path experiences a delay, it will affect other jobs.
