The Kerasaan irrigation area weir is a permanent weir that was established in 1986 and is located in Bah Jambi Village, Jawa Marajah District, Simalungun Regency. This weir was built with the aim of increasing the water level of the Bah Bolon river during the dry season, so that it can be used to irrigate agricultural land for local residents. The target to be achieved is determining the magnitude of self-gravity, mud pressure, hydrostatic pressure, uplift, earth pressure and earthquake forces which are used as a reference for the safety of the shelter against overturning and sliding forces. This study aims to determine the stability rate with the method used is Irrigation Planning Criteria. The stability value during normal air conditions and flood water conditions includes stability against overturning, stability against sliding, eccentricity of loading, soil bearing capacity or soil tension and stability against underground erosion (piping). meets the requirements for bending stability values.
