Concrete is a series of mixtures of materials such as cement, aggregate, water and some other supporting materials. Concrete is one of the commonly used construction materials for buildings such as buildings, bridges, roads, and various other constructions. The research to be conducted is to analyze one of the constituent materials of concrete, namely fine aggregate. This is because the fine aggregate of the Idanogawo river is widely used, so it is necessary to research the quality of the fine aggregate of the Idanogawo river to find out whether the aggregate meets the standards specified in selecting quality fine aggregate. This research utilizes experimental research methods in the laboratory of Universitas Harapan Medan. The parameters that are the main focus in this research are by analyzing how the distribution of fine aggregate particles, organic content, mud content, water content and compressive strength of concrete which become variables to find out the material analyzed supports the required concrete. In this research, the concrete quality that becomes the reference is concrete with K-250 concrete quality. The results of the study by analyzing a series of specified requirements, with the conclusion that the fine aggregate of the Idanogawo River meets the standards in the use of fine aggregate as a concrete mix based on ASTM C 125-06. With an average compressive strength of 27.7692 Mpa, where the compressive strength results are in accordance with the plan.
