Every work environment always has a risk of work accidents, the amount of work accidents depends on the type of industry. This study aims to identify the accident process at PT. Sumber Sawit Makmur uses the Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) method to analyze work hazards in order to reduce the number of work accidents, work equipment and the work environment. And the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method aims to analyze the causes of the risk obtained from the HIRARC results. Based on the results obtained at 12 work stations where 52 potential hazards were obtained in the manufacture of CPO palm oil, the level of risk management application in PP RI No. 50 of 2012 by 50%, which means that the implementation is still not implemented and the results of the Safe T Score with a negative number indicate the situation is improving. To find out and reduce work accidents where they have to install prohibition signs at several stations, including boiling stations and press stations, workers are required to use complete personal protective equipment (PPE) and make improvements to the production process equipment.
