The large number of market demands, every MSME tries to always increase work productivity. The process of slicing cassava is a concern for researchers because of the possibility of work injury, namely when slicing cassava. What are the risk factors identified in the process of slicing cassava manually Is the posture of the workers in the cassava slicing process correct Designing an automatic cassava slicing tool. The methods used in this study are the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) method, the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method to determine the ergonomic posture of workers and the Nordic Body Map (NBM) to identify worker complaints. The results of processing the NBM questionnaire identified several worker complaints. RULA calculation table A score 4 and table B score 7 and the results of the final assessment are 7 (high), the results from the REBA calculation in table A score 7 and in table B score 7 and the results of the final assessment are 12 (high) need immediate changes. Because the results of the two methods have a high value and immediately require improvement of working posture, an automatic cassava slicing machine was designed using the Sketchup 2016 application. The scores for the RULA method and REBA method after the changes were made, namely getting a final score of 4 on the RULA method and a final score of 2 on the REBA method.
