dc.description.abstract Today, many people do not know the origin of their clan, especially the Butarbutar clan. Due to the lack of interest in reading and seeking information, the community has minimal knowledge of their own clan. The influence of educational games is very large nowadays. Educational games are games that are used in the learning process and these games contain educational elements or educational values. This educational game introducing the Butarbutar clan is designed to introduce Toba Batak culture, especially the Butarbutar clan. Along with the development of the era in today's globalization era, many young people do not like to study Batak culture. This educational game uses Adobe Flash CS6 as a medium or container for making it, and flowcharts are used as system design. The method used in this game is the waterfall method, which is the waterfall method. It uses several stages, namely: requirement, Design, Implementation, Verification, and Maintenance.
