PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the plantation and processing of palm oil where the production produced is crude palm oil, CPO (Crude Falm Oil), PKM (Palm Kernel Mil). In managing crude oil, the boiling station is one of the most important machines where this machine is critical, because if the sterilizer is damaged it will result in the cessation of the production process from the factory, economic instability and increasingly sharp competition in the industrial world requires a company to further improve efficiency. its operating activities. One of the things that support operations in a company is the readiness of production machines in carrying out their implementation. Before planning, it is necessary to apply an appropriate engine performance in order to find out the factors that can harm the engine by using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method. It aims to determine the level of effectiveness of the sterilizer by measuring the value of Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Availability, Performance efficiency, and Quality product at the sterilizer station. After calculating the results obtained, namely the value of OEE 6.62%, Availability 60.78%, Performance efficiency 11.375%, Product quality 100%. From these results it can be seen that the performance of the Sterilizer is not optimal due to too much downtime. The amount of downtime is caused by insufficient fresh fruit bunches (FFB) so that the machine stops more and reduces the performance of the machine itself.
