In the implementation of a construction project, cost estimating plays an important role, especially in the field of construction management. Cost management itself is a method that uses technology to measure costs and productivity through the full life cycle of an enterprise-level project. In construction project work there is often a discrepancy between the planned schedule and the realization in the field, causing delays. Many factors cause delays, one way to anticipate this is by accelerating.
Alternative acceleration used is the addition of working hours, additional labor and a combination of both. The calculation starts with finding the critical path using Microsoft Project then crashing is done to get the cost slope of activities that are on the critical path, then an analysis is carried out using the Time Cost Trade Off Analysis method.
From the results of the analysis, with the provision of accelerated project duration of 14 days, a fee of Rp. 120,296,000 is required for additional workers, - Rp. 162,606,150 for additional working hours and Rp. 126,392,150 for a combination of additional workers and working hours. Thus an alternative to adding labor was chosen because it is more economical than adding working hours and the combination of adding labor and working hours with an additional cost of 5.69% of the normal cost of IDR 113,820,000.
Keywords: cost, crashing, acceleration.
