UD. Mariadi Rangka is a business that is engaged in furniture, precisely in the manufacture of sofa frames. For optimal productivity results, employees who have expertise and work discipline are needed. In this case the company UD. Mariadi Rangka has not implemented a Performance Assessment system, therefore it is necessary to assess the performance of employees to assist the company in making decisions such as promotions, bonuses, wage increases, and termination of employment.
This study aims to determine the criteria used in performance appraisal and to rank the best employees at UD. Mariadi Rangka. The data was processed using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The basic concept of this method is to find the weighted sum of the performance ratings for each alternative on all criteria.
The conclusion of this research is that there are 5 weighting criteria that will be used as a reference in evaluating employee performance, namely attendance with a weight of 30, ethics with a weight of 15, time discipline with a weight of 20, work quality with a weight of 20, and quantity of results with a weight of 15. the result of employee calculation on behalf of Sugeng is the best employee at UD. Mariadi Order with a Preference value of 89.9.
