dc.description.abstract The development of augmented reality (AR) technology is increasingly rapid and has great potential in various fields such as education and sports. The aim of this research is to develop an Android-based augmented reality application that helps introduce basic badminton techniques. The difficulty of understanding badminton techniques taught verbally or conventionally is the main reason for creating an AR application that teaches basic badminton techniques. When the user points the Android device camera at the special marker provided, the application will display 3D animations and interactive visual information. Therefore, it is hoped that this application can provide a more interesting and effective learning experience, especially for beginners who want to learn badminton. Testing and evaluation is carried out to ensure that the application is easy to use, detects markers accurately, and provides clear and useful information. The research results show that the use of augmented reality technology when learning badminton techniques can significantly increase the user's understanding and skills.
