This study aims to determine the effect of using Instagram social media, entrepreneurship learning, and locus of control on online entrepreneurship interest with self-efficacy as a mediating variable in students of the business economics faculty, Harapan University Stamp 2018, 2019 and 2020. In this study using path analysis techniques. which serves to determine the direction of the variables studied and analyze how significant the influence between the independent and dependent variables is either directly or indirectly through the mediating variable. In this study using the associative method with a quantitative approach. The entire population used in this study were 200 respondents from the Faculty of Business Economics, Harapan University Stamp 2018, 2019, 2020 who had taken entrepreneurship courses.
The results of the research for the category of having a business show that the variable of using Instagram social media has no significant effect on self-efficacy. Entrepreneurship learning has no significant effect on self-efficacy. Locus of Control has a significant effect on self-efficacy. The use of social media Instagram has no significant effect on interest in online entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship learning has no significant effect on online entrepreneurship interest. Locus of control has a significant effect on interest in online entrepreneurship. Self efficacy has no significant effect on interest in online entrepreneurship. The use of Instagram social media, entrepreneurship learning and locus of control on the interest in online entrepreneurship through self-efficacy is not significant.
For the category of not having a business, it shows that the variable use of Instagram social media has no significant effect on self-efficacy. Entrepreneurship learning has a significant effect on self-efficacy. Locus of Control has a significant effect on self-efficacy. The use of social media Instagram has no significant effect on interest in online entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship learning has a significant effect on online entrepreneurship interest. Locus of control has no significant effect on interest in online entrepreneurship. Self efficacy has a significant effect on interest in online entrepreneurship. The use of Instagram social media on online entrepreneurship interest through self-efficacy is not significant. Entrepreneurship learning and locus of control on online entrepreneurship interest through self-efficacy are significant.
