dc.description.abstract | This research intends to design a floating raft model using a float from plastic bottle waste that can support the design load. This is useful as information on the use of agricultural land on flooded land in Lama village, Hamparan Perak sub-district, Deli Serdang district. Besides that it is also intended to be an alternative to wood or bamboo in the use of floating rafts as an Agricultural Engineering Infrastructure. The research was carried out from April to August 2022, which consisted of several phase, specifically: 1) Design stage using SketchUp 3D Pro 2021 software, 2) Material preparation stage and floating raft modeling, and 3) Testing. Based on the observations in this study, it was concluded that the volume of the buoy affects the load that the raft can support, the larger the volume of the buoy used, the greater the load that can be supported.
